Who Can Use Noku

Noku accounts and online play are for people aged 13 or older. If you are under 13, do not create an account or use matchmaking.

Account And Profile Data

We store the details needed to run your account: email, username, display name, avatar or profile image, bio, socials, country display choice, Elo, achievements, notifications, and settings.

Email accounts store a password hash, not your raw password. Google accounts store sign-in basics from Google, such as email, name, provider ID, and profile image if available.

Guest And Device Data

Guests get an HTTP-only guest cookie, guest ID, and guest name for casual, computer, and online presence features. Theme preference may be stored locally in your browser.

Hosting, security, analytics, captcha, ads, and country lookup can process technical data like IP address, browser details, device info, pages viewed, and timestamps.

Match, Replay, And Chat Data

Ranked, casual, and computer records can include players, guest or account IDs, names, Elo before and after, moves, barriers, final board state, clocks, duration, result, end reason, and replay data.

Private matches are not shown in public match history. Private match board records may be kept in an admin-only archive for replay staging and site operations, without private room chat. Saved casual or ranked chat may be stored with the match, and reported chat includes surrounding context for review.

Moderation Data

We store reports, report notes, profile snapshots, chat snapshots, warnings, bans, ban reasons, admin decisions, and notification records to keep Noku safe and fair.

Active account bans may appear on public profiles with the reason and remaining time. Expired moderation records may remain in admin history.

Public Information

Profiles can show username, display name, avatar, bio, socials, country flag if enabled, Elo, achievements, active ban status, and match history.

Leaderboards and replays may show names, avatars, countries if enabled, Elo changes, results, and move history.

How We Use Data

We use data for accounts, matchmaking, Elo, leaderboards, profiles, achievements, replays, notifications, moderation, security, abuse prevention, analytics, advertising, debugging, and beta improvements.

We do not sell your account profile data.

Services We Use

Noku uses providers for hosting, database, authentication, analytics, ads, and abuse prevention, including NextAuth, Google OAuth, hCaptcha, Google Analytics, and Google AdSense.

Choices, Retention, And Contact

You can edit visible profile details in Settings, sign out, or clear browser storage and cookies to reset local or guest state.

Email support@playnoku.com for deletion, export, correction, privacy, or legal requests. Some records may be kept for security, moderation, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or match and leaderboard integrity.

Noku uses safeguards like HTTP-only guest cookies, password hashing, and server-side validation. Beta data may be corrected, reset, or removed when needed.
