Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account or use online play. If you use Noku outside New Zealand, you are responsible for local rules that apply to you.
Open Beta
Noku is in open beta. Features may change, break, reset, or be removed. We do not guarantee uptime, permanent accounts, permanent rankings, or unchanged beta Elo and match history.
Accounts
You are responsible for your account. Keep sign-in details safe. Do not impersonate, use misleading profiles, evade bans, sell accounts, or access accounts or admin tools that are not yours.
Game Modes And Records
Ranked affects Elo and leaderboard position. Casual and computer matches may appear in history, achievements, and replays. Private matches are not public history, but board records may be kept in an admin-only archive for replay staging and site operations. Computer records may be validated and rate-limited.
Fair Play Rules
Do not cheat, automate play, use bots against players, exploit bugs, manipulate ranked results, disrupt games, abuse queues, spam actions, or interfere with Noku systems.
Do not harass, threaten, hate-speech, dox, sexualize minors, spam, scam, or post illegal, invasive, or harmful content anywhere on Noku.
User Content
You keep ownership of profile text, avatars, social links, chat, reports, and gameplay choices. You let Noku host, display, store, moderate, process, and use that content to operate and protect the service.
Do not post content you do not have rights to use. We may remove, hide, or restrict content that breaks these Terms, creates legal risk, or harms Noku.
Reports And Moderation
Players can report profiles and eligible chat. Reports may include context. False, abusive, or retaliatory reports may lead to action against the reporter.
Moderation can include warnings, profile edits or removal, chat or queue restrictions, temporary or permanent bans, declined reports, accepted reports without punishment, or admin discretion for edge cases.
Privacy And Communications
The Privacy Policy explains what Noku stores and how it is used. Noku may send in-site notifications about account status, moderation, bans, reports, product updates, or beta changes.
No Competitive Or Monetary Rights
Elo, achievements, leaderboard placement, match history, avatars, notifications, and account features are part of the game service. They have no cash value or guaranteed permanent state.
Service Limits And Changes
Noku is provided as-is during beta. To the extent allowed by law, we are not responsible for lost progress, inaccurate rankings, outages, bugs, moderation decisions, third-party issues, or indirect losses.
